The brief was to create a book based on a collection. I decided to create a book collecting together people’s suspicions
about numbers. It contains articles found online, quotes from lottery chat rooms, responses to a questionnaire I created,
my own photographs and scratch cards I purchased. The title is the Unicode code for the word ‘numbers’, I wanted
people to create their own suspicions about what it stood for.

The brief set was to redesign a CD cover using an unpredictable process. I created this cover for the
MSTRKRFT album ‘The Looks’ by playing 100 games of noughts and crosses. All the games were placed
into a grid and I hole punched the noughts to create the pattern seen on the cover.
